About the role

We are searching for an Assistant Procurement Manager to handle sourcing, inventory control, and process improvements. You will negotiate with suppliers, optimize procurement workflows, manage stock levels, and collaborate across teams to ensure cost efficiency and operational excellence.

What you'll be doing
  • Lead sourcing initiatives by identifying, evaluating, and selecting reliable suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Manage procurement operations for raw materials, components, and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
  • Oversee tender and quotation processes, ensuring compliance with procurement governance and driving efficiency.
  • Negotiate strategically with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and high-quality standards.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business needs.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability and long-term performance.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the procurement team to support growth and effectiveness.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
What we're looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field with minimum of 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in supply chain operations, procurement, or logistics management.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end supply chain processes with a strong track record of efficiency and performance.
  • Proficient in ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP S4HANA, and Envision.
  • Solid understanding of contract preparation and review, invoicing processes, and negotiation of commercial terms.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively.
  • Excellent multitasking and time management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks in high-pressure environments.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
