Job summary

A creative marketing agency in Petaling Jaya is seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager specializing in Events Activation. This role demands strong organizational skills and creativity to manage event activations effectively. The ideal candidate will communicate regularly with clients, manage suppliers, and ensure events run smoothly. A diploma or degree in Marketing or Mass Communication and at least 2 years of experience in event management are required. Travel may be necessary for outstation events.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and brainstorm with the designer team of the event(activation), keeping the client’s requirements, budget and spending plan in mind.
  • Manage supplier relationships and ordering/production of products, equipment and items.
  • Communicate with the client regularly to understand their needs, event expectations and requirements.
  • Inspect the site during ongoing arrangements(activation) to ensure smooth operations and address any necessary changes.
  • Generate creative ideas regularly to keep the event engaging.
  • Plan budgets, negotiate contracts and maintain clear communication with clients.
