Job summary

A leading procurement and supply chain company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an Assistant Manager / Senior Procurement Executive. The role involves sourcing food and supplies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring quality and timely deliveries. Ideal candidates will have 2-5 years of experience in procurement within the F&B sector, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in Excel. Knowledge of Cantonese and Mandarin is advantageous. ASSISTANT MANAGER / SENIOR PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE

Source and purchase food, ingredients, packaging, and kitchen supplies.

Maintain good supplier relationships and evaluate performance.

Ensure timely deliveries and manage inventory to avoid shortages.

Control costs and suggest cost-saving alternatives.

Ensure all products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Support daily operations and new menu launches.

Keep accurate procurement records, invoices and reports.

Work closely with Kitchen and operation team to meet daily needs

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain, F&B Management, or related field.

2–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in F&B or restaurants.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Basic knowledge of restaurant supplies and food ingredients.

Ability to plan, manage inventory, and solve supply issues.

Proficient in Excel and basic procurement system

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Team player with good coordination skills.

Ability to speak Cantonese and Mandarin is an added advantage.
