A property management company in Petaling Jaya is looking for skilled finance professionals to manage accounts and provide financial support for property operations. The role includes preparing management accounts, monitoring cash flow, and assisting in budgeting and audits. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with 3–5 years of experience for Senior Executive positions and 5–7 years for Assistant Manager roles. Proficiency in accounting systems and strong analytical skills are essential.

Handle a full set of accounts for assigned properties, including income, expenses, accruals, and journal entries.
Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and financial reports for management and Joint Management Body (JMB) / Management Corporation (MC).
Monitor cash flow, bank balances, and ensure sufficient funds for property operations.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments, service charge, sinking fund, and rental collections.
Assist in preparing annual budgets, revised forecasts, and cash flow projections for properties.
Monitor budget performance and highlight variances with recommendations for cost control.
Review and verify operating expenses to ensure they are within approved budgets.
Work closely with Property Managers on financial matters, including fee billing, recovery of arrears, and financial planning.
Attend JMB/MC meetings, Annual General Meetings (AGM), and Extraordinary General Meetings (EGM) when required to present financial reports.
Support audits, including liaising with external auditors and providing necessary schedules and documentation.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations (e.g. Strata Management Act, Companies Act, SST where applicable).
Maintain proper accounting records and documentation for audit and statutory purposes.
Ensure timely submission of statutory reports, tax filings, and audit schedules.
Supervise and guide junior finance staff, reviewing their work for accuracy and completeness.
Assist the Finance Manager in improving finance processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
Participate in system enhancements and finance-related projects.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MICPA) is an added advantage.
Senior Executive: Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in property management, facilities management, or real estate.
Assistant Manager: Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience, with supervisory exposure preferred.
P ossess relevant experience in the Property Management industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Familiar with property management accounting (service charge, sinking fund, arrears management).
Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
Good analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
