This Sales Manager (Export) role will be accountable for a core business of the company, which is primarily focused on export of aluminium products to the manufacturing industry. You’ll work across functions and regions to strengthen the customer base and achieve sales goals. Key responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets for volume, margin, and revenue through strategic planning and execution.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding needs and delivering customized solutions.
- Act as the Export and Key Account Management specialist to drive results across assigned accounts.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to ensure profitability, customer satisfaction, and long‑term partnerships.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to optimise sales strategies.
- Lead and contribute to new product, solution, and regional business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams – Customer Service, Production, Operations, and Technical – to ensure timely delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the finance team to manage credit risk and ensure timely payments.
- Support product development by gathering customer feedback and liaising with R&D teams.

Qualifications
We’re looking for an experienced candidate with export sales and key account management experience from the manufacturing/industrial sector. Ideal candidates will have:
- Diploma/Degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Sales, Commerce, or related fields.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
- Proven track record in lead generation, prospecting, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and cross‑cultural business practices.
- Managerial experience (senior executive level and above) is an advantage.
- Experience in Export Sales and Key Account Management is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Key skills: Strategic Planning, Leadership, Communication, Negotiation, and Presentation.
- Self‑driven and resilient, with the ability to influence and lead effectively.
