Job description

Assist the Manager/ Senior Manager/ Vice President, Risk Reporting in discharging their responsibilities in ensuring that BU’s activities are in line with the objectives set by Management by:

1. Preparing and analyzing IBMR reports on risk exposures in line with the reporting framework of IBMR for:
   • relevant individual AmBank Group entities as well as on consolidated Group basis;
   • specific asset classes;
   • specific products/portfolios
2. Working with Product Managers to provide info's on risk taking activities for Management’s information and action as appropriate.

Assist Mgr/Snr Mgr/VP, Risk Reporting to provide Product Mgrs/BUs with risk reporting support by producing reports on a timely basis.

Assist Mgr/Snr Mgr/ VP, Risk Reporting to provide Mgmt with risk rpts on a periodical & ad-hoc basis that emphasizes good data quality delivered on a timely basis.

Assist Mgr/Snr Mgr/VP, Risk Reporting by preparing IBMR reports / committee packs for Management.

Assist Mgr/Snr Mgr/VP, Risk Reporting to execute the operational processes for measurement, analyzing and reporting of risk exposures.

Undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Mgr/Snr Mgr/VP, Risk Reporting.

Contribute by bringing operational process issues to supervisors’ attention.

To ensure continuous operational process improvement via automation, elimination of duplication and simplification where possible.

Provide assistance/exchange knowledge with fellow IBMR team members to promote skill enhancement and knowledge sharing.

To develop a comprehensive working knowledge with relevant systems used for risk management reporting from a user perspective.

• Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Banking & Finance and Accounting
• Degree in Financial Engineering, Economics, or any other related field.
• Chartered Financial Analyst. "CFA" - an added advantage

• Professional Risk Managers' International Association "PRMIA" - an added advantage
• Persatuan Pasaran Kewangan Malaysia "PPKM" - an added advantage
