The ideal candidate will have over three years of relevant experience, strong accuracy, and problem-solving skills. Candidates with expertise in SAP B1 and Excel will excel in this role, which emphasizes both autonomy and teamwork. Responsibilities include management reporting, variance analysis, and board reporting, ensuring financial compliance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the month-end closing process for all entities.

  • Lead the preparation of the Group’s consolidated financial statements.
  • Consolidate annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Prepare and compile financial sections of the Board reporting pack.
  • Manage monthly variance analysis against budget.
  • Act as liaison for annual statutory audit and internal audit reviews.
  • Undertake special projects and assignments as delegated.

Job description

Oversee and manage the month-end closing process for all entities within the Group. Ensure accurate posting of journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and intercompany reconciliations.

Responsibilities
  • Corporate Month-End Accounting – oversee and manage the month-end closing process for all entities within the Group; ensure accurate posting of journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Monthly Management Reporting – prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports for senior management; provide insights on key financial indicators, operational metrics, and business performance.
  • Group Consolidated Financial Statements – lead the preparation of the Group’s monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements; perform consolidation adjustments, elimination entries, and group-level reconciliations.
  • Group Budget Consolidation – consolidate annual budgets and periodic forecasts submitted by business units; prepare budget presentation packs for management review; ensure consistency of assumptions, templates, and reporting structures across the Group.
  • Board Reporting Pack – prepare and compile financial sections of the Board reporting pack; coordinate with other departments to collect required inputs.
  • Variance Analysis & Financial Performance Commentary – manage monthly variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods; provide meaningful commentary and insights on financial performance drivers; highlight risks, opportunities, and proposed action plans to improve results.
  • Liaison with External & Internal Auditors – act as main liaison for annual statutory audit and internal audit reviews; prepare audit schedules, respond to queries, and ensure timely resolution of issues; ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal control requirements.
  • Additional Responsibilities / Future Assignments – undertake special projects and assignments delegated by the Superior or Management; support continuous improvement initiatives for reporting efficiency and system enhancements; assist in policy development, SOP updates, and process standardization where required.
