Job summary

A reputable construction company in Malaysia seeks a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) Manager to oversee the quality of precast panels at construction sites. You will lead a team, ensure quality control compliance, manage inspections, and implement corrective actions. The ideal candidate must hold an Engineering or Science degree, preferably in Civil or Mechanical, and have at least 5 years of experience in QAQC. Excellent knowledge of ISO 9001 in a construction or manufacturing environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a QAQC environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality-related matters of precast panels at construction sites.
• Lead QAQC team to ensure adherence to QMS.
• Carry out inspections per quality control plan.
• Organize QC workload allocation.
• Train staff on QAQC requirements.
• Implement corrective actions for quality improvement.
• Supervise installation of precast panels.
• Report defects to QAQC Factory Team.

Job Summary

Manage and ensure all quality related matters of our precast panels delivered at construction sites are in order and to be the connecting point between Gamuda IBS factory and their respective Clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of QAQC senior/engineers, QC supervisor/inspectors to perform their work according to QMS company and client requirements.
• Ensure that appropriate inspections are carried out according to quality control plan, before the release of products to customers.
• Organise and manage QC workload allocation to meet work arrangements.
• Train personnel on QAQC requirements.
• Ensure that suitable corrective and preventive actions to improve quality are implemented in the manufacturing floor.
• Lead a team of QC engineers, QC supervisors/technicians to of all precast panels delivered to respective construction sites.
• Closely monitor and supervise installation works of precast panels and ensure the panels are at the correct position, level and orientation.
• Work closely with customers/sites on quality issues to ensure.
• To immediately report to QAQC Factory Team of any defects detected and work closely in identifying root causes, preventive actions and also actions plans.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering/Science preferably with a Civil/ Mechanical field/background

Skills & Abilities

• Must possess working knowledge of ISO 9001 in a construction/manufacturing environment
