Responsibilities
- To co-lead or lead initiatives and/ or assigned projects.
- Coordinate and work closely with SMEs, stakeholders and also PMO for the initiatives and/or assigned projects.
- Planning for the activities and milestone of the approved initiative(s) and/or project(s).
- Track the status and timeline for agreed milestones for approved initiative(s) and/or project(s).
2. New Product Support
- To attend to New Product Workgroup meetings.
- Participate and provide input on servicing in terms of process and customer service for new products launches.
- Identify potential process gaps and provide proposal on resolutions for alignment of end-to-end process with process owners.
3. Test Lead/ UAT tester/ Test Management
- Lead and guide the UAT tester(s) for UAT Testing.
- Monitor and track testing progress and ensure defects and reported timely for fixes.
- Preparation of test plan, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Walkthrough the test plan, test cases, and test scenarios with process owners to ensure the current processes are captured for testing correctly.
- Perform UAT testing as and when needs arises.
- Preparation of relevant documentations for UAT sign-off.
4. Relationship Management
- Act as a key liaison person with IT, System Support team, project team, respective process owners, and other departments’ stakeholders.
- To attend to the relevant meetings as and when required.
5. Internal Process Management
- Coordination with SMEs, key process owners for alignment of processes.
- Ensure documentation of the "To Be" processes are being updated in respective processes.
- Relevant communications for the changes to be communicated at timely manner.
- Assist in draw up process flows as and when required.
6. Corporate Governance Management
- To keep up to date on the legislative, regulatory and Code of Conduct requirements including (not limited to), Financial Services Act, Industry Codes of Practices, Complaint Handling and Dispute Resolutions.
- Ensure initiatives and/or projects scopes, and the business requirement are complying with company policies and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance to Regulatory guidelines for the any roll out of initiatives and/or projects.
Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years working experience in business analyst related, or lead in mini projects.
- Experience in insurance related matters would be added advantage.
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to produce high quality work under pressure
- Ability to translate business issues/challenges into effective/creative program solutions
