Job description

Will be responsible for supporting the finance department in day-to-day financial operations and requires managing accounting processes, preparing financial reports, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing financial insights to aid strategic decision-making. WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Assist in the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Track production costs and inventory management to ensure efficient cost control.

Support cost allocation, product costing, and profitability analysis for the manufacturing processes.

Review and manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.

Oversee reconciliation of accounts and investigate discrepancies.

Assist in preparing detailed budgets for different departments, ensuring they align with organizational goals.

Ensure adherence to financial controls and company policies to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Assist in monitoring cash flows and recommend adjustments for working capital management.

Work closely with other departments, including production, sales, and operations, to align financial data with business activities.

Perform other tasks assigned by the Management from time to time.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE

Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (Professional certification, ie: ACCA, CIMA) are a plus.

Minimum 5-7 years of working experience in finance or accounting, preferably in manufacturing or similar industries.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, preferably in SAP (an added advantage)

Language: English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin (added advantage).

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
