As a purpose-driven organisation committed to providing the best service and support to our policyholders, we are seeking an experienced insurance professional to join our team as Head, Customer & Agent Service Centre in our Alor Setar Branch (Kedah). In this management role, you will lead the Branch in achieving its operational goals and objectives to ensure it is in line with the organisation’s vision and mission towards providing exceptional customer service.

The Role:

  • Ensure compliance in meeting deadlines and service turnaround time (TAT)
  • Ensure compliance for overall branch adherence to Quality Objectives and Service Turn Around Time (TAT), Organisation's Policies and Guidelines and Branch Operational Guide (BOG)
  • Delegation of work to Customer Service Officers (CSO)
  • Supervise and train all staff in new procedures, guidelines and product knowledge
  • Plan manpower and resources within the section during peak business hours
  • Other responsibilities entailed

The Person:

  • Possess a recognised degree in any discipline, preferably in Management, Insurance, Business Studies, Administration or related fields, or ACS, ACII, AMII, AII or equivalent
  • Has minimum 3-5 years’ experience in insurance industry, and minimum 2 years’ experience in supervisory level
  • Excellent leadership, people management and communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and strategic thinking skills
  • Good business management and project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
