Job summary

A leading tech company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced professional for a corporate communication role. The candidate will lead content development for the Annual Report, coordinate inter-departmental communication, and manage various marketing activities. Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and have at least 8 years of experience in corporate communications. Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • Annual Report Leadership – Lead end‑to‑end content development and coordination for the Annual Report, ensuring strict compliance with Bursa Malaysia listing requirements.
  • Inter‑departmental Coordination – Manage and streamline information flow between departments to ensure all mandatory disclosures and corporate narratives are accurate and timely.
  • Annual General Meeting (AGM) Support – Assist in strategic planning and execution of the AGM, ensuring all communication materials align with regulatory expectations.
  • Press Release and Media Content – Produce press releases, native articles, CEO speeches, quarterly board slides, and manage media kits to promote the organization’s activities and achievements.
  • Event Management – Plan, coordinate, and manage internal and external events such as MOU signing ceremonies, product/service launches, VIP visits, and roadshows.
  • Content Proofreading and Editing – Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines across ATL, BTL, and digital materials.
  • Communication Channel Updates – Ensure timely updates of all communication channels, including the Awantec Group website, brochures, newsletters, and social media, aligning with promotional activities and brand guidelines.
  • Integrated Marketing Support – Support the overall marketing strategy by providing creative input and contributing to the development of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Client Marketing Activities – Plan and implement marketing activities for assigned accounts as designated by the Head of Marketing to promote the company’s products and services.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent in communication, public relations, linguistics/languages, business studies/administration/management, mass communications, marketing, or related field.
