A leading healthcare organization in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Manager for Corporate Communication. This role focuses on developing and leading communication strategies that enhance brand reputation, manage stakeholder trust, and improve public visibility. Key responsibilities include overseeing media relations, organizing corporate events, and crisis management. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in relevant fields and have substantial experience in communications and leadership roles.

Strengthen corporate brand positioning across digital, printed, and physical assets.
Oversee brand guidelines, ensuring consistent tone, design, visuals and messaging across all departments.
Lead the development of campaigns that elevate the organization's profile, achievements, services, and milestones.
Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners (print, digital, TV, radio) to ensure positive and accurate coverage.
Lead press releases, media statements, interviews, crisis responses and official announcements.
Organise media briefings, press conferences, VIP visits, and public events to support corporate initiatives.
Strengthen internal messaging to improve staff alignment, engagement and organisational culture.
Lead communication plans for major internal initiatives (e.g., new services, hospital expansions, policy changes).
Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and executive teams to ensure unified communication.
Oversee digital platforms, including websites, social media, newsletters, digital boards and multimedia content.
Approve and guide high-quality storytelling, educational content, videos, campaigns and speeches.
Analyse performance data to optimise digital reach and engagement.
Lead communication strategies for major corporate events, symposiums, conferences, award ceremonies, CSR programmes and MoU signings.
Ensure message alignment during keynote speeches, scripts, talking points, emcee flow, and event branding.
Strengthen relationships with corporate, government, and community stakeholders through strategic visibility.
Develop communication frameworks for crises, service disruptions, clinical incidents, or public misinformation.
Serve as the main communication authority during a crisis to ensure accurate, timely, and controlled messaging.
Conduct post-crisis reviews to strengthen resilience and response quality.
Lead and mentor the corporate communications team, which includes digital media, design, public relations, and content writers.
Establish SOPs, communication protocols and approval workflows.
Train internal staff, consultants, and departments on communication best practices, media handling, and branding standards.
Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Communications /Public Relations /Media Studies /Mass Communication /Journalism /Marketing /Branding /Business Administration or other related fields.
Minimum 5 year experience in communications, media relations, PR, branding or corporate affairs.
The candidate should have at least 3–5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
Handling media, press releases, crisis situations and high-level events.
Managing multi-channel communication platforms and organisational branding.
