Job description

Responsibilities

Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team.

Ownership of the department which includes data & reporting, legal & compliance, the head of account & finance assistant and account assistant.

Managing the finance and reporting function of their funds.

Responsible for all tax reporting, compliance requirements needed for the business.

Handle and support investors from a tax/finance perspective.

Oversight of operational finance duties for the firm, including financial reporting, audit, payroll, tax, and annual budgeting needs.

Support the Management to create a safe and inclusive work environment.

Manages banking relationships, the check signing authority process, and alerts all individuals and banks of any changes to authority.

Perform other duties as required from the superior and management.

Perform risk management by analysing the organisation’s liabilities and investments.

Oversee investment of funds and works with investment bankers to raise additional capital required for expansion.

Perform any tambien ad‑hoc duties as assigned by the Management (Finance Director, CEO & COO).

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of working experience, preferably in the construction or renewable energy industry.
• Good command of written and spoken Mandarin, English & Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin proficiency is essential for effective communication with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
