To be responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions which includes Recruitment & Selection, Payroll Administration, Compensation & Benefits, HR Administration, Leave Management, Learning & Development, Performance Review, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, HR Reporting and Budgeting, Employee welfare and other HR related duties.
To be in charge of the management and payment of all payroll and statutory contributions and generation of salary projection reports as and when required.
To review, update and align HR policies to be in line with business needs.
To manage all HR issues arising including disciplinary and industrial relations proceedings where necessary, management of staff performance targets, management and overseeing of contract renewals, recruitment and resignation process management and other general HR administrative matters.
To oversee all work permit applications and renewals, all incoming and outgoing expatriates & employees processes and procedures.
To ensure all safeguarding checks are conducted upon recruitment and related periodic checks.
To conduct tax seminars and tax consultations for staff where appropriate.
To conduct audits where required from the relevant authorities.
To understand and implement fair employment practices and ensure compliance with regulations.
To observe the best culture and HR practices for the benefit of the Company.
To provide guidance and support to expatriates and their dependents on matters related to immigration, housing, education, healthcare, and other issues that arise during their assignment.
Any other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
