Job description

Assistant Factory Manager / Assistant Operation Manager

Assist in set up for plants / factories including but not limited to licensing application, production set up and etc.

Assist in planning and scheduling production activities to meet targets and deadlines.

Supervise, coordinate the activities of production teams, ensuring efficient workflows and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet standards.

Responsible for inventory management, maintain adequate stock level, stock accuracy & data credibility.

Implement and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures within the factory environment.

Ensure regulatory and authorities’ (DOE, DOSH, MPK, BOMBA, etc.) requirements are met, including licensing, permits, certificates and other relevant approvals are obtained and renewed at all times.

Responsible for audit arrangement for all compliances or licensing purposes.

Assist in training, development, and performance management of staff.

Assist in developing and implementing strategies to optimize resource utilization.

Serve as a liaison between the factory management and other departments or stakeholders. Collaborate with other team members to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.

Prepare necessary reports required by management.

Perform other tasks required by management from time to time.

Requirements

Degree or equivalent in Business Administration/relevant manufacturing-related discipline.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.

Able to work outstation.

High level of integrity.

Ability to work independently.

Good communication in Mandarin, Malay, English or others dialect would be an added advantage.
