Meng Kah Auto Parts Trading – Puchong New Village

The Assistant Country Manager will be the commercial lead for one of MKA Group’s iconic motorcycle parts brands. Each brand focused on driving top-line growth, brand strength and market presence. This role is empowered with full responsibility over Sales, Marketing and Business Development, while backend functions (Finance, HR, Procurement, Legal, IT) are supported by MKA Group’s Shared Services.

This is a role for those who live and breathe the rider lifestyle, know the ground, understand the market and can build a performance-focused brand that riders trust and follow.

Key Responsibilities
Drive Commercial Performance
  • Own the brand’s revenue growth strategy and ensure delivery of monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Define pricing strategies, dealer incentives and commercial forecasts to maintain profitability.
  • Build, coach and drive a sales team focused on results, relationships and reach.
  • Strengthen dealer, workshop and retail networks across key markets.
Develop & Position the Brand
  • Define the brand’s identity, tone and value proposition in alignment with market demand and rider behavior.
  • Oversee brand campaigns, motorsport sponsorships and digital marketing that elevates market relevance and recall.
Execute Market Growth Strategy
  • Expand into new territories and customer segments.
  • Lead go-to-market strategies for new product lines or market rollouts.
Champion Customer & Community Experience
  • Build brand credibility through on-ground activation, rider engagement and workshop loyalty.
  • Foster a community of brand advocates, fans and motorsport collaborators.
Collaborate with Group Shared Services
  • Work closely with MKA Group’s central teams (Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Procurement, Legal) for smooth daily operations.
  • Ensure alignment with group policies, systems and compliance processes.
Monitor & Report Business Performance
  • Track KPIs including sales, margin, market share and campaign ROI.
  • Provide regular commercial and strategic updates to Group CEO and stakeholders.
Who You Are
  • A commercial operator with 8–10 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a senior brand, sales or commercial role.
  • Experience in automotive, motorcycle aftermarket or performance parts industry strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record in driving revenue, managing dealers and building high-trust relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial, fast-moving and results-focused — thrives in field operations and market-driven settings.
  • Strong understanding of motorcycle culture, rider trends and ground-level dynamics.
  • Confident communicator with strong leadership presence and a hands-on approach.
Bonus If You Have
  • Experience growing brands across Southeast Asia (e.g. China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand).
  • Involvement in motorsport sponsorships, racing events or grassroots marketing.
  • Knowledge of homologation, OEM partnerships or product lifecycle management.
