Overview

Are you an experienced civil/structural engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding role? As an Assistant Site Engineer at Teraju Mercu Construction & Engineering SDN BHD, you will provide technical support and oversight for construction projects in Kangar Perlis. This full-time position is an opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing construction and engineering firm.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and other technical documents
• Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans and safety standards
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues
• Conduct site visits and prepare detailed reports on project progress and any identified issues
• Provide guidance and support to the construction team, including supervision of junior engineers and technicians
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and best practices

Qualifications

• Minimum a diploma in civil/structural engineering or a related field
• Work experience: minimum 3-8 years
• Minimum 1 completed landfill project experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong technical knowledge of earthwork drainage, geotechnical works, civil works, etc.
• Proficiency in using engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Microsoft Office suite)
• Must be an expert in Microsoft CPM work program
