We are looking for an AI Vision Engineer to develop, deploy, and maintain industrial computer vision systems for automated inspection and quality control. You will work closely with manufacturing, quality, and software teams to turn real‑world inspection problems into robust AI‑powered solutions running in production environments.

Job Scope & Responsibilities
  • Understand real inspection and vision challenges, including defect types, tolerances, pass/fail rules, cycle time, and camera/lighting constraints
  • Decide on the appropriate approach: classical vision, deep learning, or hybrid systems
  • Translate manufacturing requirements into technical vision system designs
  • Dataset Development: collect and manage image and video data from factory cameras and inspection devices; define labeling standards and ensure annotation quality; perform data augmentation, dataset splitting, and dataset versioning; train, evaluate, and optimize models for classification (OK vs NG), OCR (serial numbers, labels, codes); optimize models for production constraints including speed, memory usage, accuracy, and robustness
  • Deployment & System Integration: convert models into deployable formats such as ONNX, TensorRT, or OpenVINO; deploy models on edge PCs, industrial IPCs, or embedded systems; integrate AI vision systems with PLCs, MES, and QMS platforms; build end‑to‑end inference pipelines
  • Production Engineering & Maintenance: monitor production performance including false rejects and defect escapes; implement model drift detection and retraining workflows; apply active learning approaches to continuously improve model performance; ensure system reliability with fail‑safes, fallback rules, and calibration checks
  • Communication & Documentation: communicate performance using meaningful metrics such as precision, recall, F1‑score, confusion matrices, and yield impact; prepare and maintain SOPs, model cards, and deployment documentation; collaborate effectively with‑functional stakeholders
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Robotics, or a related field
  • Strong programming skills in Python, NumPy, OpenCV
  • Hands‑on experience with computer vision and deep learning
  • Experience using frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Solid understanding of image processing and machine learning fundamentals
  • Experience working with real‑world datasets (collection, labeling, cleaning)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with industrial inspection systems or manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with OpenCV, OCR systems, and defect detection workflows
  • Experience deploying models using ONNX, TensorRT, or OpenVINO
  • Knowledge of edge AI, GPU optimization, or embedded deployment
  • Experience integrating systems with PLCs, MES, or factory automation
  • Understanding of model monitoring, drift detection, and retraining pipelines
