Job summary

A leading social e-commerce company in Selangor is seeking an experienced Art Director who is a forward-thinking creative with a passion for aesthetics and modern design. In this role, you will manage brand visuals, collaborate with marketing teams, and lead projects from concept to execution. You should have over 5 years of creative design experience and proficiency in Creative Suite programs. A portfolio is required to assess your suitability. Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in creative designing.
• Strong hands-on experience across Photoshop, Illustrator and other Creative Suite programs.
• Preferable experience working client-side and in the beauty, fashion or wellness industries.

Our Art Director must be a forward-thinking creative with a passion for new ideas and real results. You will be driven by the desire to see big ideas become big realities. A hands-on team player that can dive in to new challenges. You have an eye for aesthetics and clean, fresh design. You have strong ideas about a modern and beauty aesthetic and the passion to see it come to life across multiple channels. You must also be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively in both collaborative and autonomous settings.

Responsibilities

• Responsible as a key account manager of brand(s) and leading the designers assigned to these brands in the absence of the Creative Director.
• Setting clear art direction for all base assets across all marketing channels, i.e.: photoshoots, visuals, videos, websites, etc.
• Responsible for the overall visual aspects of an advertising or media campaign.
• Generating clear ideas and concepts in tandem with the brands' directions.
• Producing sketches, storyboards, art layouts based on creative visions and ideas.
• Understanding marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience.
• Ensure cohesive brand identity across all channels.
• Photoshoot concepts, briefs, direction and delivery.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create new strategies and ideas for social media marketing, EDM, video and website creative.

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years experience in creative designing.
• Experienced in delivering real branding projects and brand collateral.
• Passionate about fashion innovation and design.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and directly with different teams to create solutions that meet many different goals.
• Strong hands-on experience across Photoshop, Illustrator and other Creative Suite programs.
• Ability to visualise and present concepts and designs for review and approval by the team.
• Ability to deliver high-quality artwork for final production.
• Preferable experience working client-side and in the beauty, fashion or wellness industries.
• Experience working in eCommerce industry is a plus.
