🏗️ From Approved Design to Built Reality — And Beyond
Arte Axis Design Group / Anuar Aziz Architect is an award-winning architecture studio shaping skylines through high-rise, mixed-use and large-scale developments in Malaysia and the region.
We are looking for an experienced Part II Project Architect who thrives on turning strong design into buildings that actually get built. From confirmed preliminary design through approvals, tender, construction and DLP, you will be at the centre of the action — working closely with creative designers, consultants and site teams to deliver architecture that stands up in the real world.
This is not a back-office role. If you enjoy ownership, collaboration and seeing your work rise from drawings to completion, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
- Take over projects once preliminary design is confirmed
- Work closely with the creative team to translate approved concepts into:
- Kebenaran Merancang (KM)
- Building Plan (BP) and authority submissions
- Tender and construction documentation
- Coordinate consultants, authorities and site teams
- Lead architectural coordination during construction, including site meetings and RFIs
- Review shop drawings, technical proposals and construction queries
- Coordinate and oversee DLP inspections, defect listings and rectification follow-ups
- Safeguard design intent, buildability and statutory compliance at every stage
Who Thrives in This Role
- You are confident owning projects from design development through completion
- You enjoy bridging creative intent with technical and site realities
- You are comfortable dealing with authorities, consultants and contractors
- You care about quality, clarity and accountability
- You write clearly and precisely — especially when it comes to letters, reports and minutes
Who We're Looking For
Part II Architects
- Master’s Degree in Architecture (LAM Part II)
- Minimum 5–8 years post-Part II experience
- Proven experience delivering projects from post-concept through completion
- Strong understanding of local authority approval processes
- Sound knowledge of UBBL and statutory compliance requirements
- Proficient in Revit and coordinated drawing workflows
- Able to work independently while collaborating closely with design teams
- Capable of managing consultants, authorities and contractors professionally
- Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to independently review, draft and amend formal correspondence, reports and meeting minutes; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is required
- Malaysian citizen ONLY
- Available immediately or on short notice is an advantage
Why Join Us
- Be part of an award-winning practice with a strong design reputation
- Work on real, large-scale projects from approval to completion
- A collaborative studio culture where design and delivery work hand in hand
- Senior responsibility, trust and room to grow into leadership roles
- A well-located office in Bangsar / Mid Valley, close to everything that matters
