Job description

We’re looking for a proactive and skilled Technical Support Developer to provide technical support and troubleshooting for both development teams and end-users. You will help ensure smooth application performance, stable infrastructure, and efficient development workflows.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure issues to ensure stable system performance.

Support version control processes, build systems, and deployment workflows to facilitate smooth development operations.

Collaborate with Project Managers, QA teams, and other developers to resolve and address support tickets while meeting project timelines.

Participate in regular team meetings to align on progress, share updates, and address challenges.

Focus on diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and improve user experience and satisfaction.

Prepare reports and queries to monitor support performance, identify recurring issues, and provide actionable insights to management.

Contribute to system enhancements and process improvements to elevate the overall quality of customer support services, while recommending AI‑driven tools to enhance efficiency.

Collaborate with end‑users to collect feedback on system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent

Required skill(s): Proven hands‑on experience in supporting and troubleshooting enterprise applications and systems. Proficient in programming languages including Java, C#, and Python. Well‑versed in version control systems such as Git, as well as build tools and deployment processes. Solid working knowledge of databases such as MSSQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL. Strong understanding of web services and APIs, including REST and SOAP. Familiar with reporting tools such as Jasper, Power BI, Tableau, Crystal Reports, and similar platforms. Demonstrates a sound understanding of object‑oriented programming (OOP) principles.

Key quality(s): Demonstrates the ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player. Quick to learn new concepts, proactive in problem‑solving, and equipped with strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Possesses excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with end‑users, developers, and cross‑functional teams. Capable of working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and consistently delivering high‑quality results. Skilled in task prioritization and managing multiple support requests efficiently.

Willing to work long hours and on weekend or public holiday when required.

Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia

Desired experience/exposure: Minimum 3-4 years of relevant working experience in supporting/developing web services and web applications. Familiar with project management principles and methodologies. Solid understanding of best practices in system security, data integrity, and software quality assurance.
