Overview

We are seeking a talented individual to join Analytics team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in Shanghai Office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Support APAC analytics by building and deploying internal automation tools and lightweight data solutions that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and speed delivery. The intern will work with analytics leads, be mentored by a senior analyst/engineer, and hand over production‑ready artifacts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy automation solutions (Python/SQL scripts, ETL jobs, dashboards, or small web tools).

  • Document code, runbooks, and perform knowledge transfer to permanent staff.

  • Monitor adoption and performance; iterate based on stakeholder feedback.

Qualifications
  • Current student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.

  • Strong Python and SQL skills; experience with pandas or equivalent.

Preferred
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and basic testing practices.

  • Clear communicator and comfortable working in a cross‑functional team.
