Job description

Vehicle Maintenance

Perform routine checks and maintenance of the ambulance, including fluid levels, tire pressure, and ensuring medical equipment is operational.

Ensure the vehicle is always fully stocked with necessary medical supplies and ensure supplies are rotated and replenished as needed.

Report any mechanical issues to the supervisor for repairs or further inspection.

Ensure the cleanliness of vehicle.

Emergency Response

Respond to emergency calls and transport patients to medical facilities without delay.

Act as a liaison between dispatch and the medical team to ensure clear communication regarding the patient’s condition, route, and arrival times.

Documentation & Reporting

Record patient transport details, including the origin and destination, time of transport, and relevant patient information.

Maintain logs of vehicle mileage, maintenance, and repairs.

Report accidents or any incidents that occur during transport.
