Job Summary:

An HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The technician ensures that all HVAC systems operate efficiently and effectively, providing a comfortable environment for occupants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install new HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and refrigeration units.
• Connect electrical wiring and controls to the HVAC systems.
• Test HVAC systems for proper functioning and performance.
• Maintenance:
  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Inspect and test system operation, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.
  • Change filters, check refrigerant levels, and ensure all components are in good working order.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues using specialized tools and equipment.
• Repair or replace defective components, such as motors, compressors, and thermostats.
