Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an analytical and forward-thinking (Senior) AI Management Consultant to join the AI Consulting team within NEXT. In this role, you will help clients design and implement AI-enabled strategies, analyse business processes, and drive operational excellence across diverse industries. You will work closely with senior leaders to identify performance gaps, define improvement opportunities, and deploy solutions that create measurable business impact short- and long-term.
Assess client readiness for AI, data maturity and advanced analytics adoption
Map, analyse, and redesign end-to-end business processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities through data-driven diagnostics
Analyse financial and operational data to identify performance gaps and growth opportunities
Conduct operational assessments and facilitate workshops to co-create future-state processes with client stakeholders of all levels (incl. C-Level) and benchmark current performance vs. best practices
Develop business cases and strategic frameworks to support prioritization of opportunities
Develop AI transformation roadmaps, high-level solutions and implementation plans
Define and track performance metrics (KPIs) to monitor operational improvements
Support implementation of optimized workflows, digital tools, and performance dashboards
Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to ensure data readiness and translate business needs into AI-driven solutions
Support organisational change management efforts and ensure smooth adoption of new processes
Lead workstreams and manage day-to-day project activities with minimal supervision
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes
Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations, reports, and recommendations to senior executives
Build strong client relationships through clear communication and problem-solving expertise
Mentor junior team members and contribute to practice development initiatives
What you should possess:
Hold a master’s degree, with 3-6 years of relevant management or strategy/operations consulting experience
Outstanding academic performance and strong record of extracurricular activity
Demonstrated experience in AI strategy, process transformation, or operational excellence
Customer-oriented and commercial thinking
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders at all levels (incl. C-level), and workstream responsibilities
Excellent English communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
Experience with process mapping, process improvement methodologies and process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Loop)
Exposure to AI/ML concepts, digital transformation, or automation technologies (RPA, workflow tools)
Experience working in sectors such as financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, or technology
Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Python)
Multilingual, with proficiency in at least two other languages relevant for an APAC context
