Job summary

A leading insurance company in Penang is seeking an Assistant Manager for Agency Business Development. The successful candidate will enhance productivity and quality recruitment, organize agency activities, and conduct training sessions. You will also be responsible for monitoring sales, providing solutions to queries, and ensuring timely document transmission to headquarters. A Bachelor's Degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience are required for this position. This role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to build strong relationships within the agency.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in any field.
  • At least 4 years of working experience in the related field is required.
  • Preferably good in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Focusing on improving productivity and quality recruitment.
  • Organize recruitment activities to improve agency mix.
  • Conduct agency meeting and training.
  • Conduct 1:1 performance review with leaders.
  • Monitor agency sales on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Provide solutions to agency queries.
  • Check and transmit agency documents to HQ within timeline.
  • Build strong rapport with agencies.
  • Assist at various agency events and activities.

Conduct 1:1 with leaders for performance review and actions to be taken to improve performance

Monitoring and tracking agency sales on daily/weekly/monthly basic

Provides solutions to agency and monitoring on queries reply

Perform checking and transmission of agency documents to HQ within timeline (e.g. ROP appeal, AOM, LAB, new agent contract, transfer of policy, change of bank account etc).

Build strong rapport with agencies

Assist and support at various agency events/activities (BOP/Roadshow/Training).

Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
  • At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably good in excel and power point.
