Company: Marsh Commercial

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Accounting team at Marsh Management Services Labuan Limited(Marsh Captives). This role will be based in our Paragon Labuan, Labuan office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working as per respective team's arrangement.

Associate Accountant – Labuan
We will count on you to:
  • Maintain all financial records and prepare periodic financial statements.
  • Monitor premium cash flow to maximize investment income through the management of the local and overseas bank accounts.
  • Administer investments in accordance with pre-determined guidelines.
  • Collect premium receivables.
  • Pay claims based on claim guidelines as well as general and administrative expenses.
  • Plan and complete annual audit, inclusive of the preparation and filing of the Statutory Financial Return.
  • Monitor compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Liaise with the local corporate secretarial firm that provides corporate secretarial services.
  • Liaise with the Regulator.
  • Arrange Board of Directors and Annual General Meetings as required.
  • Maintain the permanent file and company information sheet for each company
  • Maintain client documents - either hardcopy or computer stored, under standard filing systems.
What you need to have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of experience in handling full sets of accounts
  • High Proficiency in using MS Office Application
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
