Abgentil Biomedical is an innovative biotechnology company advancing Cell & Gene Therapy (CGT) in Malaysia and the region. As we grow our operations, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administration & Accounts Executive to support our daily office operations and finance administration.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, trustworthy, and enjoys working in a fast-moving, purpose-driven environment.
Manage day-to-day office operations, filing, and documentation
Handle correspondence, scheduling, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements
Prepare basic reports, letters, and internal documents
Liaise with vendors, service providers, landlords, and relevant government agencies
Maintain office supplies and ensure smooth office functioning
Provide general administrative support to management and project teams
Liaise with external HR service provider on:
Leave application and balance monitoring
Attendance tracking
Staff claims and reimbursements
Payroll-related documentation
Maintain accurate internal records for staff leave, claims, and basic HR matters
Support onboarding and offboarding documentation
Issue invoices and track payments and receivables
Manage expense claims, petty cash, and supporting documents
Record and organize bills, receipts, and financial documents
Prepare basic monthly expense and cash flow summaries
Liaise with external accountants and auditors for:
Monthly bookkeeping
Management accounts
Audit preparation
Tax-related documentation
Ensure timely submission of financial documents and supporting records
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field
2–4 years of experience in administration and accounts
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and office finance processes
Experience working with external HR and accounting firms is an advantage
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with accounting software is a plus
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and responsible
Able to handle confidential information with integrity
Comfortable working independently in a start-up / growth-stage company
