Job description

Tai Chong Marine Engineering – Menglembu, Perak

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers and suppliers for delivery arrangements & requirements
• Attend discussion meeting with client for negotiation or status of the project
• Attend discussion meeting with engineer for project update
• Liaise with production manager and engineer for manhour calculation and project costing
• Respond promptly and efficiently to customer request for quotation
• Require to know technical and read drawing based on customer parts RFQ
• Cooperate with purchaser to provide RFQ from client, discussion for delivery arrangement with purchaser and inform to clients
• Update project status for every quotation to managing director
• Inform admin to issue an invoice for client based on each client payment terms.
• Provide payment receipt to finance to check payment status
• Discuss with managing director for the pricing and the details of the quotation before provide to clients.
• Update job order at JMIS system for QC team to proceed with the report
• Follow up with production team for project status.
