Job summary

A major accounting firm in Malaysia is looking for an accounting assistant to manage accounts receivable and payable tasks. Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable matters
• Input data into the Fixed Assets ledger and prepare journal entry
• Process staff claims in accordance with the Firm’s policies and procedures
• Reconcile accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank, salary, service tax, inter-office, and inter-company balances
• Support the preparation of cash flow reports, month-end schedules, and other related tasks
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: Diploma in Accounting
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver results
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail; able to multitask effectively
• Independent and able to work under minimal supervision and pressure
• Good written and verbal communication skills
