Job summary

A leading firm in the financial sector is seeking an experienced individual to manage full sets of accounts and oversee HR functions. Responsibilities include preparing monthly financial reports, handling payroll, and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy, has at least 3 years of relevant experience, and possesses strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in SQL Accounting and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of relevant working experience in Accounting. HR role is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Accounting/Payroll software is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in the newly implemented e-Invoicing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and prepare full sets of accounts including reconciliations.
  • Handle daily accounting functions and monthly closing activities.
  • Prepare monthly payroll for management and staff claims.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors and tax consultants.
  • Ensure proper filing and updating of documentation.

Skills

Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
Strong proficiency in MS Office applications
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
