Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
- Handle a full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
- Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes accurately and on time.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and related schedules.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash flow records.
- Prepare account projections, update bank tracking (Excel) weekly, and advise the Director on company financial status.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Prepare and update project fee proposals and discuss revisions with the Director.
Payroll, HR & Administration
- Prepare, calculate, and verify monthly payroll, salary payments, staff claims, and reimbursements.
- Ensure timely payroll upload and statutory contributions.
- Provide general HR and administrative support to management.
- Assist the Director with ad‑hoc administrative and financial matters as required.
- Ensure timely submission of tax filings and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare company tax estimations, tax projections, and tax planning.
- Liaise with LHDN, auditors, accountants, tax agents, and company secretaries.
- Prepare and manage license payments related to company properties and liaise with relevant authorities.
Company Asset & Vehicle Management
- Manage company vehicles, including road tax renewal, insurance, and related administrative matters.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum experience in handling a full set of accounts independently.
- Proficient in accounting software such as SQL Accounting, AutoCount, or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
- Good organizational, planning, and time‑management skills.
- Able to work independently and also collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (spoken and written).
- Female Mandarin‑speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Able to liaise confidently and professionally with clients/owners to follow up on outstanding payments.
