Job summary

A local accounting firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an Accounts Assistant to manage the full set of accounts including accounts receivable and payable. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree and have 1-2 years of experience, although fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Proficiency in accounting software and ability to work independently are essential. This position offers a dynamic environment within a professional team and requires strong problem-solvers with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Handle full set of accounts - Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Journals, and Cash Book.

Prepare online banking.

Perform monthly bank reconciliation.

Prepare monthly closing of accounts & reports and timely submission to the Management.

Assist on procurement and documentation.

Assist Financing and annual review.

Assist ad-hoc assignments, as and when required.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Accounting, LCCI, part ACCA. Those without qualification but with experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • 1-2 years relevant working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • PC literated and good working knowledge of accounting software such as UBS, SQL, Auto-Count, Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be Team Player-Independent, Meticulous and strong sense of honesty and responsibility.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Punctual and have a great attitude - "Can do" attitude and ability to search for innovative solutions.
  • Willingness to learn and upgrade skills.
  • Deadline oriented.
  • Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Office located near LRT station.

5 working days per week.

Willing to work in Bukit Jalil and Bandar Puteri Puchong.
