Job summary

A leading accounting firm is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage a full set of accounts for multiple clients. Responsibilities include daily accounting entries, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance with accounting standards. Candidates should possess a diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Fresh graduates are welcome, while those with 1-3 years of relevant experience will have an advantage. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software is desirable.

Accounts Executive / Accounting Executive (Client Servicing)

Handle full set of accounts for multiple client companies

Perform daily accounting entries, bookkeeping, and documentation

Ensure proper account balancing and reconciliation (bank, AR/AP, GL)

Prepare monthly / quarterly financial reports for clients

Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities

Prepare schedules and supporting documents for audit and tax purposes

Ensure accounting records comply with accounting standards and statutory requirements

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and internal teams when required

Act as a point of contact for assigned clients on accounting matters

Respond to client queries professionally and in a timely manner

Coordinate with internal audit / tax teams to support client deliverables

Key Responsibilities
Client Accounting & Bookkeeping
  • Handle full set of accounts for multiple client companies

  • Perform daily accounting entries, bookkeeping, and documentation

  • Ensure proper account balancing and reconciliation (bank, AR/AP, GL)

  • Prepare monthly / quarterly financial reports for clients

Financial Closing & Compliance
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities

  • Prepare schedules and supporting documents for audit and tax purposes

  • Ensure accounting records comply with accounting standards and statutory requirements

  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and internal teams when required

Client Servicing & Coordination
  • Act as a point of contact for assigned clients on accounting matters

  • Respond to client queries professionally and in a timely manner

  • Coordinate with internal audit / tax teams to support client deliverables

Administrative & Process Support
  • Maintain proper filing of accounting documents (physical & digital)

  • Assist in improving accounting processes and documentation

  • Support ad-hoc accounting or finance-related tasks as assigned

Requirements
  • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Fresh graduates are welcome OR

  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting firm / audit firm / outsourcing firm

  • Basic to good knowledge of accounting principles

  • Experience handling full set of accounts is an advantage

  • Familiar with account balancing & reconciliations

  • Proficient in Excel and accounting software (e.g. SQL, AutoCount, UBS – optional)

  • Able to manage multiple clients and deadlines
