Job description

The Accounts Executive will support the Senior Accounts in managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role focuses on assisting with financial tasks, maintaining records, and providing administrative support to the finance team.

Job Descriptions
Accounting Support

Assist in handling accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL), journal entries, monthly closings, and reconciliations under the guidance of the Senior Accountant.

Maintain accurate postings and documentation in the Auto Count Accounting System.

Support the preparation of financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for internal review.

Bank Transactions

Ensure all transactions are properly supported and comply with internal financial control procedures.

Compliance & Statutory Filing

Assist in ensuring compliance with Malaysian accounting standards, SST, EPF, SOCSO, LHDN, and e-Invoicing regulations.

Provide support in coordinating with external auditors, tax agents, and government authorities.

Payroll & Commission Tabulation

Assist in payroll processing and salary-related claims.

Help tabulate and validate monthly sales team commissions based on structured incentives and company sales records.

Claims & Cash Management

Support the management of petty cash and staff claims with proper tracking and disbursement procedures.

Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of claims.

Administrative & Management Support

Provide administrative assistance to the Senior Accounts, GM, and Top Management on delegated finance-related duties.

Undertake ad hoc assignments and responsibilities as instructed by the Senior Accounts or Management.

Company Office Location

Located in the Semenyih industrial zone, near major landmarks such as Fish Valley Semenyih Restaurant (5 mins away) and Nirvana Memorial Park Semenyih (along Jalan Sungai Lalang).

Requirements

Have experience in Accounts.

Required skill(s): Computer literate, Intermediate MS Excel skill and familiar with Auto Count accounting will be added advantage.
