Job summary

A leading eyewear company in Malaysia is looking for an experienced accountant to manage full sets of accounts and prepare financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in accounting and 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the retail industry. Proficiency in accounting software such as SQL, Autocount, or Xero is essential. The role requires a strong knowledge of accounting principles, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–3 years accounting experience, preferably in retail.
  • Able to work independently with high accuracy and responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Handle full sets of accounts (AP/AR/GL).
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and bank reconciliation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into accounting systems.
  • Liaise with auditors and tax agents.

Skills

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into accounting systems.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and external parties when required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
