Job summary

A local laundry service provider in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced accountant to prepare financial reports and manage overall accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should hold at least a Diploma in Accounting or Finance, possess 2-3 years of relevant experience in a factory setting, and be proficient in accounting software like AutoCount. Responsibilities include bank reconciliations, invoice management, and budget assistance. A salary range of RM3,500.00 – RM5,000.00 based on experience is offered.

Job description
Responsibilities

Prepare monthly financial reports, management reports, and reconciliation.

Responsible for accuracy of invoices & submission of E-invoices

Monitor petty cash, reconciliation, reimbursement.

Ensure timely issuance of debit/credit notes for customers.

Perform bank reconciliation and monitor/maintain 13‑week rolling cash flow.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for factory operations.

Prepare SST, CP204, Withholding tax.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and government authorities when required.

Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.

Assist in the development and monitoring of the KPI’s financial company.

Support year‑end audit and closing of accounts.

Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education

Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance is an added advantage.

Experience

Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment.

Knowledge in full set of accounts and Malaysian accounting standards.

Familiar with accounting software (AutoCount) & E-invoice.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Payroll knowledge is advantageous.
