Overview

The role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings, preparing financial statements, and supporting statutory as well as management reporting.

Process all invoices to the Enterprise Resources Planning system daily with documents verification.

Follow up on dispute invoices and ensure invoices are being investigated and closed in a timely manner.

Ensure timely payments to accounts payables and perform monthly creditors reconciliation.

Prepare and review monthly and year-end financial statements with accruals, reconciliations and schedules to support statutory and management reporting within the stipulated timeline.

Identify and investigate financial discrepancies against budget and projection.

Working closely with relevant departments/business units to resolve issues and be the key driver towards efficiency of operation.

Assist in developing and implementing accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Assist in the automation of both handling and reporting of the accounts department.

Provide support for ad-hoc financial analysis and assisting the business unit in strategic decision making.

Able to manage a small team with 2-3 members with proper guiding.

To carry out any duties assigned by the management from time to time.
