A leading recruitment agency in Kajang is looking for an Accounting Assistant to handle various accounting and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include data entry, invoice processing, inventory management, and assisting with bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate should have a Certificate or Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration and at least 1-2 years of relevant experience, although fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Perform accurate and timely daily data entry, including recording expenses, journal entries and financial transactions.
Process, verify, and match vendor invoices, prepare payment vouchers and assist in generating payment runs.
Generate and issue sales invoices for finished goods, monitor customer payment records and assist the Manager with timely follow-up on outstanding payments.
Assist in reconciling physical inventory counts against accounting records.
Conduct basic monthly bank and supplier statement reconciliations.
Manage, disburse and reconcile the company's petty cash fund.
Manage the inventory and procurement of general office and necessary basic factory supplies.
Compile and prepare routine administrative and operational reports for the Account & Admin Manager.
Handle incoming/outgoing mail, courier services and manage general company filing systems.
Execute any other general administrative or operational tasks as required by the management team.
Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting/administrative.
