A reputable project management company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Finance Assistant to maintain accurate financial records and support administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in accounting or finance and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in accounting software and strong communication skills in both Bahasa and English are essential. Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
Data Entry:Input financial data into accounting systems or software.
Accounts Payable/Receivable:Process bills, invoices, and payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
Staff Claims:Verify, process, and record staff expense claims in accordance with company policies.
Bank Reconciliation:Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accounted for.
Administrative Support:Assist with filing, correspondence, and other office tasks related to accounting.
Financial Reporting:Generate basic financial reports for management, such as cash flow summaries and expense reports.
Compliance:Ensure all transactions adhere to relevant financial regulations and company policies.
Communication:Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding payment issues and account inquiries.
Educational Qualification:Minimum Diploma or certificate in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Experience:Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred.
Technical Skills:Experience in accounting software (e.g., Autocount) is a plus point.
Attention to Detail:Strong accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
Numerical Skills:Good mathematical and analytical abilities.
Communication Skills:Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing in Bahasa English & Bahasa Malaysia.
Organizational Skills:Strong time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Knowledge:Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Problem-solving abilities:Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to resolve customer issues.
