Job summary

A local company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced accounting professional. You will be responsible for inputting accounting transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Accounting, at least 2 years of experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software. Strong communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin are required. This role offers opportunities for independent work and task management.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Input accounting transactions into accounting system.

Job description

Inputting accounting transactions into accounting system

Handling accounts payable and receivables

Perform daily/monthly reconciliation of bank statements

Assisting in preparing monthly and annual financial reports

Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal departments on payments and account inquiries

Supporting on additional tasks when required and performing all duties assigned by superior from time to time

Job Requirements

Possess a Certificate / Diploma in Accounting

Minimum of 2 years working experience

Proficient in using Microsoft Office and accounting software.

A high level of accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping

Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Good command of both written and spoken of English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
