Job summary

A global manufacturer in Johor is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to enhance financial reporting and digital workflows within the organization. This role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting along with a minimum of 5 years of managerial experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting practices, international regulations, and be detail-oriented with excellent leadership skills. This role also requires proficiency in Oracle and MS Office, with proficiency in English being essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS, IFRS, Company Act, and Tax regulations.
• Experience in multinational companies, CPA firms, or listed companies preferred.

Our new manufacturing plant located in Senai Airport City, Johor will serve as a key production hub in Southeast Asia, supporting global customers with innovative, precise, and sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review daily accounting records and oversee financial reporting with accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare financial statements and analyze anomalies for management review
• Plan and implement digital transformation in accounting workflows to enhance efficiency and transparency
• Monitor business operations and ensure alignment with financial data and company policies
• Manage and complete tax filings within statutory deadlines in compliance with Malaysian regulations
• Provide system guidance and problem‑solving support to colleagues
• Collaborate with HQ in Taiwan, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to identify and mitigate financial and operational risks
• Perform other tasks assigned by senior management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting (or related field)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role
• Cost accounting experience in manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of MFRS, IFRS, Company Act, and Tax regulations
• Experience in multinational companies, CPA firms, or listed companies preferred
• High integrity, detail‑oriented, and accountable
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Oracle and MS Office
• Strong English proficiency (Mandarin is a plus for cross‑border collaboration)
• International Business Travel Required.
