Job summary

A leading electronics manufacturing company in Johor is looking for an Accounting Assistant to support general accounting functions. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Accounting and at least 1 year of experience. Responsibilities include handling AP, AR, GL entries, and supporting month-end close activities. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with AP/AR processes, GL postings, and month-end closing.
• Detail-oriented and responsible with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling general accounting functions including AP, AR, and GL entries.
• Support month-end closing activities and preparation of journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliation, invoice checking, and payment processing.
