Job summary

A company in the catering sector located in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Accounting Executive. The successful candidate will independently manage the full set of accounting operations, prepare financial reports, and handle Malaysia payroll including statutory submissions. Qualified candidates must hold a Diploma in Accounting and possess at least 3 years of relevant experience, particularly in the Food & Beverage industry. Familiarity with Peachtree or MYOB is preferred, along with the ability to communicate in Cantonese.

Accounting/ Senior Accounting Executive (F&B / Catering)

Able to independently handle full set of accounting operations including preparing book-keeping records and maintaining General Ledger and Accounts

Capable in performing accounting duties including month‑end closing, including reconciliation of bank accounts etc.

Assist in preparing full set of accounts as well as able to handle audit engagements independently

Prepare financial and management reports as required

Work independently and take ownership of assigned accounts with minimal supervision

Handle accounting for multiple entities

Handle Malaysia payroll independently, including monthly salary processing and statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, etc.)

Perform other ad-hoc assignments when required

Requirements

Holder of Diploma in Accounting / Finance or related disciplines, with Qualified Accountant of any professional bodies

At least 3 years’ relevant working experience in which exposure in Food & Beverage industry is a must

Hands‑on experience in handling Malaysia payroll independently, including statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS)

Able to work independently and manage assigned accounts with minimal supervision

Experience in using Peachtree or MYOB system is preferred

Able to maintain the full set of accounts independently and work under tight deadline during month‑end closing

Able to read and speak Cantonese to liaise with Hong Kong counterparts
