Job Purpose
To manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensure timely reporting and compliance with statutory and company requirements, and support management in financial planning, analysis, and decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Maintain full set of accounts, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP).
- Perform monthly reconciliations of AR, AP, bank, and GL accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Handle billing, collections, payments, and accounting entries in a timely and accurate manner.
Financial Closing & Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing, in coordination with management and in accordance with Headquarter reporting timelines.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and schedules as required.
- Provide accurate financial data and analysis to support management reporting and decision‑making.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Prepare and support annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring compliance with company requirements and timelines.
- Monitor budget performance and highlight variances where applicable.
Compliance, Audit & External Liaison
- Ensure all accounting activities comply with company policies, internal controls, statutory requirements, and tax regulations.
- Liaise with banks, internal and external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries on matters relating to audit, taxation, and statutory submissions.
General & Ad‑hoc Duties
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by management in support of finance operations.
