Senior Associate – Accounting & Audit

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Associate with 3 years relevant working experience to join our Accounting & Audit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing client account preparations and managing full sets of accounts within stipulated timelines.

Job Scope

• Prepare and review full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients across various industries.
• Perform accounting functions such as journal entries and month/quarter/year-end closing processes, including the review of work performed by junior members of the team.
• Review and finalize management accounts, financial statements, and consolidated accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Liaise with clients’ management to gather information, resolve issues, and provide recommendations for business and process improvements.
• Perform clients’ audit engagements, including preparation of audit working papers, supporting audit schedules and documentation.
• Oversee client engagements by managing project timelines, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of accounting services.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a professional services or accounting firm.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong command of Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken).
• Prior experience in accounting and audit will be an added advantage.
