Job description

We are a growing trading company looking for a hands-on, driven and reliable Accountant or Accounting Specialist to take full ownership of our accounting function.

You will be part of a small, close-knit team where your contribution truly matters. If you enjoy working independently, solving problems, and seeing the direct impact of your work on the business – this role is for you.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the full set of accounts for the company.

Ensure the accuracy of all accounting transactions and the timely closing of monthly accounts, as well as the compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

Manage Malaysian payroll.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, government authorities, lawyers and others.

Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Accounting. MIA/ACCA membership an added advantage but not mandatory

Min 3 years of related working experience in handling full set of accounts as well as Malaysian payroll.

Experienced working with accounting software (experience in in using SQL accounting application an added advantage)

Good command of spoken and written English. Chinese proficiency (spoken/written) is an added advantage (due to business partners being based in China).

Proactive, able to multi-task and work under pressure.

Result oriented while maintaining good relationship with team members.
