About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our growing finance team at VSTECS KUSH SDN. BHD. in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting and accounting processes.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and responsible for monthly closing of accounts and its related reports.
• Examine reports accuracy and perform variance analysis and reconciliations.
• Perform verification and approval to ensure conformance of company policy, accounting standards, tax and other statutory requirements.
• Involved in budgeting, audit process and Bursa quarterly announcement.
• Provide support in relation to financial matters.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Possess professional certificate - ACCA.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the trading or distribution industry.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and best practices.
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
