Job summary

A recruitment firm in Negeri Sembilan is seeking a finance professional to manage various accounting functions including customer registration, bank reconciliations, and audit assistance. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting and possess at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of ERP systems like Syspro is an advantage but not mandatory. Interested candidates should contact via email.

  • Knowledge of accounting software or ERP.

Responsibilities

  • Register new customers and suppliers.
  • Issue credit notes and debit notes.
  • Posting incoming and outgoing payments.
  • Conduct AP & AR reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly payable forecasts.
  • Assist with statutory payments and audits.
  • Handle bank-related inquiries.

  • Register a new customer /supplier
  • Issue CN/DN
  • Posting Incoming /Outgoing payment
  • AP & AR Reconciliation
  • Monthly payable forecast
  • Statutory & monthly fixed expenditure payment proposals.
  • Register FA
  • Bank Recon.
  • Month-end rollover.
  • Monthly job closure.
  • Prepare P&L & BS.
  • SST Declaration
  • Monthly rubber usage Declaration
  • Customs Declaration (MIDA)
  • LGM license renewal
  • HRDF application for any training, if applicable
  • Add the exemption code into the SST portal, if needed.
  • Audit assistant for financial audit & tax audit
  • Provide supporting documents to the banker each time receive FTT.
  • Attend to bank-related enquiries.
  • Monthly trial balance submission and posting in FIRE condit (HB2) accounts
  • WC-apply tax clearance to LHDN.
  • BC-attend to payroll calculation enquiries from BC staff.
  • Stock adjustment.
  • Indexing/Filling documents
  • Raise esign for all non PO invoices
  • Raising ePR in portal
  • Staff attendance
  • Understanding of BOM, Routing. Production order closing & analysis for manufacturing variance, action plan etc.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting / related disciplines.
  • At least 5 Years of experience in manufacturing set up with knowledge of any accounting package (ERP).
  • Knowledge of Syspro ERP will be a added advantage but not compulsory for a deserving candidate(s)
